Certainly no one would prefer to post the photograph as it is on web. Given the bandwidth constraints and web space available it becomes more important to edit photo just for uploading on web.<br /><br />I use a very simple, efficient, really fast software called Irfanview, best part of it is -its free<br /><br />Its simple process,<br /><br /><ul><li>Open the photo you wish to reduce file size for</li><li>Crop the photo, this helps in removing the unwanted portion of photograph</li><li>Go to Image > resize option. There are very convinient options to quickly select a specific dimensions.
